A relatively novel concept in the realm of design – space or spatial design – has connotations as
wide as space and time themselves. A discipline that transcends the barriers of traditional
design specialisms such as architecture, landscape architecture, landscape design, interior
design and service design as well as certain areas of public art. A wide canvas that covers under
its broad wings many multiple areas of interior and exterior environments and delivers value
and understanding in spaces across both the private and public realm.
Space design involves a great deal of how people perceive and interact with spaces. When one
examines space from a metaphorical viewpoint, the application avenues cover a variety of
scales, from detailed design of interior spaces to large regional strategies.
Spatial design gleans key insights from other disciplines such as product and service design, as
well as social and historical methods that help with the identification and determination of
place. Space being the very glue that bonds the old and new world order, spatial design is the
indispensable link – the very DNA that defines, redefines and transforms the very basis of how
people interact with, modify and utilize space. We believe in studying and constantly tinkering
with the boundless space and time continuum, across the different media channels available at
our disposal, to design meaningful experiences for our clients.
